KIT digital Releases RTE Player Apps for iOS Platforms and Connected Devices

Leading Irish Broadcaster RTE Achieves Rapid Uptake in Its iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch Video Apps Using the KIT digital Platform

Launched worldwide, the iOS app allows iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch users to stream RTE programming for up to 21 days after transmission using a Wi-Fi or 3G network, as well as watch selected live shows from RTE One, RTE Two and RTE News Now. KIT digital was selected based on its ability to deliver an enhanced user experience as well as the tier-one reliability of its software, which meets the demands of a modern broadcaster.
